Tron: Evolution serves as a precursor to the movie Tron: Legacy and sequel to both the graphic novel Tron: Betrayal and the Nintendo Wii and DS versions, Tron: Evolution - Battle Grids. Five more maps were released in a downloadable pack one of these, the «Classic» map, is a replica of the light cycle grid from the original Tron film.
